Environment
- Act as the competent person/competent operator for the Bag Filter
Dust Collector (CePBFO)
- Act as the competent person/competent operator of Scheduled Waste
Management (CePSWaM)
- Conduct periodic inspection at the plant to identify non-compliance
of any sort to prevent environmental pollution.
- Investigate any pollution incident that takes place within the premise and furnish corrective and preventive action to
the management.
- Analyze the trend of each parameter from the environmental
monitoring to identify the potential source of pollution in advance.
- Always
ensure the compliance of conditions of
approval of EIA.
Safety & Health
- Identify workplace hazards and
furnish preventive action via HIRARC.
- Involve in the establishment of the Safe Work System in the
workplace.
- Conduct research on safety and health related topics of concern to provide an effective action plan to improve
workplace safety.
- Perform incident investigation to identify the possible cause of
incident and furnish corrective action.
- Involve in managing the safety related equipment of the workplace.
- Act
as a coordinator to mitigate the situation in the event of an incident.
Facilities Management
- Manage and maintain all
facilities and assets of the tyre pyrolysis plant, including buildings,
equipment, and grounds.
- Ensure that all facilities are in good
working condition and comply with all safety and environmental
regulations.
- Develop and implement a preventive
maintenance plan for all facilities and assets.
- Conduct regular inspections of all
facilities and assets to identify any potential problems or hazards.
- Coordinate and oversee all repairs and
maintenance work on facilities and assets.
- Manage the budget for facilities management
and ensure that all expenses are within budget.
- Develop and implement a system for tracking
and managing all maintenance requests and work orders.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies
and trends in facilities management and implement any improvements that
can help to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that all facilities and assets are
used in a safe and efficient manner.
- Comply with all applicable laws,
regulations, and standards related to facilities management.
Requirements
1. Possess at least:
a. Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or
b. Have attended the Safety & Health Officer course organized by certified training provider or
c. One year experience with Occupational Safety and Health in other company
2. Possess experiences in facilities management, with a focus on industrial or manufacturing setting is an advantage
3. Good proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required for this role. Proficiency of other languages is an advantage.
